I had such a wonderful day at BookExpo today.  My day started out with an author’s breakfast that included a panel of other children’s book authors who have new or upcoming books.  It was great listening to their experiences and how they relate to my own. The boys and I flew into New York last night for BookExpo and BookCon.  Seas Apart is on display at both conferences!  Today, I will attend BookExpo to meet some industry folks, and tomorrow, the three of us will check out BookCon.  I’ll post more details and pictures as the day progresses. Tomorrow is really important to me.  Not only do I have the honor of speaking with the entire sixth grade at NEMS, but intertwined amongst them are several students that were in the Seas Apart Book Club.  I simply CANNOT wait to see them again.  So much has happened in the last year.  What an amazing journey!
